Blood Drive!
We will be hosting a blood drive outside of the studio from 8:30 - 1:00 on Saturday August 11th. That's both before and during our 4th Annual Birthday Bash. The drive is being sponsored by studio dancer Emma Grace who was the recipient of blood products while recovering from her craniotomy last year.

Here is some more information from Emma Grace's family:
As many of you know Emma Grace was a recipient of blood products while recovering from her craniotomy. Her hemoglobin was so low and after a few days her body was so busy handling the trauma of her brain that her blood was just not producing hemoglobin. After she received the blood products her body really began to heal and two days later she was able to move out of ICU to another floor. On Saturday August 11th we are hosting a blood drive at her dance studio in honor of Emma Grace. We have partnered with her dance studio, Miller Street Dance Academy at Baxter Village in Fort Mill and the Red Cross to get 32 people to donate blood. We feel so strongly about blood donation and we have seen firsthand how 15 minutes of someone's time and donation of blood can make such a HUGE impact. The dance studio will also be hosting their Birthday bash that day and there will be plenty of fun activities open to the public. I am the first to say I hate needles! But when I think of the dozens of times if not close to a hundred at this point that Emma Grace has had needles in her arms I am reminded of her strength and the need for blood and think if she can do it, then I can too! I hope you will join us! I am really wanting to fill these spots quickly so please let me know if you would be willing to donate! It only takes 15 minutes! We know that many folks reading this are out of town. We encourage you to donate in your own cities! The need is everywhere and the Red Cross has issued several media releases about how they are in low supply.
